Getting rid of head lice can be a royal pain. Controlling a head lice infection requires that you regularly check the hair and scalp for any sign of nits or eggs. To determine level of infestation we use bright lights to check the hair and scalp carefully from all angles because lice nits (eggs) are very small and adhere to only one side of the hair shaft. Along with the bright light we use magnifying glasses to ensure that we locate and remove as many nits as possible prior to treatment.
Once an infection has been identified getting rid of head lice becomes the next battle.
